Measuring ROI from IMTS

OK, so how do we measure ROI from IMTS? Actually, that may be the wrong question to ask when looking for meaningful results.
The correct perspective is to look at IMTS as a sales and marketing tool used to accomplish your company's overall objectives. For example, if your 2012 goal is to generate $10 million, how will IMTS help you do that? How many new customers do you expect to generate this year? How can IMTS help you get them? How many current and past customers do you expect to do business with in 2012? How can IMTS help you do that? Look at your big goals and then ask how IMTS will help you achieve them. Now THAT'S meaningful.
