IMTSedu Webinar - We Want You ... to Design Our Car!

The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2010 saw a series of physical and procedural improvements to the marshalling yard for the show, and those process improvements will continue at IMTS 2012. This IMTSedu webinar, led by Tom Gilmore, National Freight Manager of GES, will open communication between freight carriers and the general contractor of IMTS (GES) and provide information that can assist you in planning your deliveries to the show.

Move-in/Move-out Target Dates by Building

Directions to GES Advance Warehouse

Location: Global Experience Specialists, 2300 S. Throop St., Chicago, IL  60608

Receiving Hours: Monday through Friday: 8:00 am - 2:30 pm; Closed from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm daily.

North of Chicago:
Take I-90 E / I-94 E (Dan Ryan Expressway) South
Proceed past downtown
Take the 18th St. exit (exit 52C).  Do not turn onto 18th St. – go straight
Turn slight right onto West Cermak Rd – 2nd light
Turn left onto South Throop St
The GES warehouse will be on your right hand side.

South of Chicago:
Take I-90 / I-94 W (Dan Ryan Expressway) North
Merge onto I-55 (Stevenson Expressway) via exit 53B toward St. Louis
Take the Damen Ave / 2000 W  exit (exit 290)
Turn right onto South Damen Ave
Cross over railroad tracks
Turn right onto South Blue Island Ave – 2nd light
Turn right onto West Cermak Rd
Turn right onto South Throop St
The GES warehouse will be on your right hand side

Southwest of Chicago:
Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway) toward Chicago
Take the Damen Ave / 2000 W exit (exit 290)
Turn left onto South Damen Ave
Turn right onto South Blue Island Ave – 2nd light
Turn right onto West Cermak Rd
Turn right onto South Throop St
The GES warehouse will be on your right hand side

Interstate 90 (Kennedy Expressway) to Interstate 55.   Bear right just past 18th Street. Then bear left to go North on Interstate 55 to Lake Shore Drive South (41 South).* Lake Shore Drive South to 31st Street. At the 31st Street Exit bear right to Marshaling Yard. Signs for Marshaling Yard are posted at 31st Street Exit.

West of Chicago to McCormick Place
Interstate 290 (Eisenhower Expressway) to Interstate 94 (Dan Ryan Expressway).   East on Interstate 94 (Dan Ryan Expressway) to Interstate 55 North. Bear right just past 18th Street. Then bear left to go North on Interstate 55 to Lake Shore Drive South (41 South).*   Lake Shore Drive South to 31st Street. At the 31st Street Exit bear right to Marshaling Yard. Signs for Marshaling Yard are posted at 31st Street Exit.

Southwest of Chicago to McCormick Place
Interstate 55 North directly to Lake Shore Drive South (41 South).* Lake Shore Drive South to 31st Street. At the 31st Street Exit bear right to Marshaling Yard.  Signs are posted at 31st Street Exit.

South of Chicago to McCormick Place
Interstate 94 (Dan Ryan Expressway) to Interstate 55 North.  Interstate 55 to Lake Shore Drive South to 31st Street.* At the 31st Street Exit bear right to Marshaling Yard. Signs for Marshaling Yard are posted at 31st Street Exit.

*Trucks permitted on Lake Shore Drive southbound between Interstate 55 and 31st Street
