Another tip for preshow promotions

Last week I sent a tip to make your preshow mailings FAT. That helps get your targeted prospects and customers to open it.

This week, let's talk about using the most powerful tool around for generating new business -- Word-Of-Mouth.

Offer an incentive to your CURRENT customers to bring a prospect with them to your booth. If they're regular customers, you could offer a small discount on their next order, or a small gift. Also offer something for their friend.

We all know WOM is the strongest form of marketing, but few companies actually create proactive plans for generating WOM. IMTS can be a great opportunity for this. You want current customers to stop by anyway, right?
