Start Setting Those Appointments

As the subject line of this message says, there are only 61 days until IMTS 2008. That's only TWO months!

Have your sales and marketing people started setting appointments with customers and prospects yet? Do it now! I push my corporate clients to set as many appointments as possible before a show to ensure the success of the show BEFORE they go.

Think about it. If your company could average two appointments per hour total, you'd have 96 important meetings in the bag before you get there. Let's say you only close 20% of those with new business. That's about 20 new orders and/or customers. How much is ONE order worth to you? How much would 20 be worth?

By setting those appointments now, any other new meetings you get during the show are just icing on the cake.
