EAC REGISTRATION

There has been some confusion with regards to what Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) form to complete from the IMTS E-Kit. If you are using an EAC, please complete the EAC Registration form found under the Booth Services category. Please ignore the 'Notice of Intent to Use Exhibitor Appointed Contractors' - found under the GES - General Contractor category. You do not need to complete this form.

Please accept our apologies for any and all confusion this has caused.

OUTSIDE VENDOR WARNING

Around this time, your email is getting flooded with companies soliciting you for AV Rental, EAC Services, travel and hotel, etc. for IMTS 2008. Please be aware, that not all of these companies are the official IMTS vendor. Look for the Official Vendor Logo.

Specifically, it has come to our attention that there is a company representing itself as the official show riggers for IMTS 2008. They are contacting exhibitors like yourself and saying that you can save money on your rigging bill by paying now.

Your rigging services for IMTS 2008 are part of your Custom Block Pricing Package and all rigging labor is scheduled and supervised by GES Exposition, the official show contractor. No outside rigging service is authorized to operate at McCormick Place.

Under no circumstance should you make any payments on invoices from anyone except GES Expo.

If you have received any invoices for rigging service, or have any questions, please contact GES at 866-280-7765.

ARE YOU HOLDING A PRESS CONFERENCE AT THE SHOW?

If so, please send Mary Uhrina (clearlywrite@sbcglobal.net) an e-mail with date, time and location (even if it is in your booth). This will populate a calendar on the web site and in the on-site Media Center that will be accessed by the press.
