IMTS 2008 WEBINAR SERIES
The remaining schedule of the popular IMTS 2008 Webinar Series is as follows:

All webinars are held at 11:00am EDT and are about one hour in length. Click here for more information on each session and to register.

NEW SHUTTLE SERVICE
At IMTS 2008, a new shuttle service will operate from the rear of Halls A, B & F, and the side of Hall E where train stations will be located to facilitate pick-up and drop-off from each building. Station seating and complementary water service will also be available.

ROBOT COMBAT
Featuring battling bots live daily at the show. Located in the Lakeside Center, D-4375 and North Building, B-6171, attendees will watch as bots display their metal crunching prowess against a variety of competition. Watch your mail for the special sponsorship opportunities available to exhibitors.

TARGET MOVE-IN/MOVE-OUT DATES
IMTS 2008 Target Move-in/move-out dates will be sent to you beginning mid-April by GES Exposition, the General Contractor for the show. Please contact your GES representative directly to discuss any concerns or special needs you may have with your target information. In order to make your scheduling easier then ever, dates/times will not only feature truck check-in times but also approximate times you can expect your equipment will be unloaded at your booth.

INNOVATION CENTER
IMTS 2008 will feature an all new Innovation Center highlighting a relevant theme for each day of the show. Located in the Lakeside Center, this theatre-style setting will feature two daily live presentations from renowned industry leaders. The daily line-up is as follows:

Monday – Sept 8 -- Automotive Day
Tuesday – Sept 9 -- Quality Control Day
Wednesday – Sept 10 -- Aerospace/Aeronautics Day
Thursday – Sept 11 -- Power Generation / Green Day
Friday – Sept 12 -- Medical Day
Saturday – Sept 13 – Job Shop Day

TAX INCREASE
As of January 1, 2008, the City of Chicago has increased the Rental / Usage Tax. Any rental materials ordered or equipment used will be taxed at the new rate. The tax rates on the forms in the IMTS 2008 E-Kit do not reflect this increase.

The grid below shows the increase in tax per square foot for the Custom Block Packages.
