Student Friendly Exhibitor

Become a Student Friendly Exhibitor

As part of IMTS, the NIMS Student Summit focuses on career development, and provides a unique venue for students to interface with industry representatives. It is NIMS goal to reach out and enlighten students through contact with industry professionals and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. Join IMTS & NIMS and become a Student Friendly Exhibitor!

By engaging students in this event, NIMS hopes that the Student Summit will be an eye-opening experience that encourages the pursuit of a career in our industry.

The 2006 NIMS Student Summit drew over 6,000 students, and we expect well over 7,000 in 2008. Additional members of the NIMS Student Summit audience in 2008 will include instructors, school administrators, and guidance counselors.

NIMS Student Summit at IMTS will include a Career Development Center in the West Building at which all students attending IMTS must register, as well as "Student Friendly" Exhibitors.

The responsibilities would include the following: speaking with students that visit the booth about the exhibit and/or company, and answering any questions students may have while at the booth. Please note: this would be done when booth staff members are not dealing with potential customers.
