About Yasda Precision America
In 2013, Methods announced a new partnership with Yasda Precision Tools, the world’s premier builder of machining centers and jig borers with a reputation of preeminence in accuracy, precision and quality.
Yasda was founded in 1929 in a small factory in Osaka City, Japan consisting of just three people producing engine cylinder boring machines. In 1964, after changing their line of products from cylinder boring machines to machine tools, Yasda introduced the first horizontal fine boring milling machine, the Jig Master. Since then, Yasda has developed and manufactured over 60 different machines. Each model is built to be highly accurate and durable, and has evolved to be more multi-functional and more automated for ultimate productivity. Today, Yasda is committed to continuously improving their extensive lines of machines including CNC Jog Borers, 5-Axis Precision Centers and Micro Centers.
Yasda machines have advanced design features and robust guide ways mounted onto meticulously hand scraped surfaces for long-term precision, rigidity and thermal stability. Each model is highly accurate and durable, designed to be multi-functional and automated for optimal productivity. Yasda combines the accuracy and durability of their machining centers with the highly skilled craftsmanship of scrapers to achieve unmatched accuracies. Hand scraping is done on all key components including guideways, pallet top surfaces, and spindle housing mounting surfaces.
In order to ensure the utmost in quality and precision, Yasda uses only Yasda machines to build their own machine tools. Other quality machine tool builders also use Yasda machines to build their machine tools. Yasda machines undergo rigorous testing to ensure the perfection that Yasda demands.
Yasda’s mission is to satisfy their users around the world by familiarizing them with Yasda products and by offering the best technologies to meet their ever changing and ever growing needs, as quickly and efficiently as possible. Yasda consistently strives to make the world’s best machines using highly skilled engineers and craftsmen to produce the most accurate and reliable machines available, period. “We stand by our slogan: striving to be the best, not the biggest,” says Mr. Jakuto Yasuda, Yasda president. Committed to continuously adapting to the demands of the times, Yasda builds on lessons learned from experience over the years.
