Vendor Partner Spotlight GES Hello, and happy spring! I want to thank all the exhibitors who filled out their Freight Planner Questionnaire before the initial deadline passed last week. This information helps me greatly when plotting out target dates and planning IMTS operations. Please keep in mind that this form is always available to update with your most current information. This not only helps me keep track of your needs, but it also helps you with budget estimates. It will always be part of your e-Kit checklist. Speaking of target dates, my team in Chicago is hard at work on them right now. Assigning dates and entering them into the various systems takes roughly a month. Be on the lookout for these dates to be announced the week of April 6, roughly a month earlier than normal! These target dates will tell you what days to bring your freight on the Inbound and when to pick up your freight on the Outbound. Please keep in mind that the times associated with your target dates correspond to when your carrier must check in to the GES Marshalling Yard – not when freight will be dropped off or picked up from your booth. Please make sure everyone in your organization is aware of these dates and share these dates with your carriers. As always, if you have any questions, reach out to IMTSservice@ges.com for general or ordering questions, or tgilmorejr@ges.com for any freight-related questions. |
