General Contractor Spotlight

As we prepare for IMTS 2026, it is always a good idea to revisit the Custom Block Package and what it includes. Your custom block is determined by your weight density – the total freight weight (machines and display, including the weight of skids and crates) divided by the total square footage of your booth.
So, what’s included in your Custom Block Package? All Custom Block Color Packages include material handling (drayage), 26 oz. plush carpet, Visqueen, and nightly vacuuming.
The Tan Package is the most unique since it includes standard furniture. Being placed in a Tan Package also means that your booth has no machinery and, therefore, does not need any rigging labor.
For the Yellow, Purple, Orange, Blue, and Brown packages, all straight-time rigging labor and equipment are included. Straight time is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT. All rigging labor outside the above timeframe will be billable.
If you would like to bundle services, there are multiple options within the Custom Blocks, and we encourage you to consult your e-Kit when it goes live in September 2025.
We understand that this can all seem a bit daunting, but if you take the time to plan your freight, get that info into the Freight Planner, and stay on your planned course for IMTS 2026, you will experience minimal budget variance and add a true sense of cost certainty to your IMTS 2026.
