Robyn Davis

Known for her fresh perspective and process driven approach to exhibitor success, Robyn has been working with exhibitors across industries and around the world for over a dozen years.

In that time, organizers like NSSF (the SHOT Show), AEM (CONEXPO-CON/AGG), RE+, RSNA, and, now, AMT (IMTS) have hired Robyn to teach their exhibitors how to “win” at trade shows.

Robyn often speaks at popular industry events, like ExhibitorLive and Exhibitor FastTrak, and has recently been honored as the International Association of Exhibitions and Events “Educator of the Year” and with the Events Industry Council's “Pacesetter” award.

Robyn is a Certified Professional in Talent Development (training) and has earned her degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Julie Baker serves as Chief Operating Officer at Map Your Show (MYS). She is one of the founders of MYS and has worked with IMTS for many years. Having worked with hundreds of trade shows and events, her primary focus is on creating practical solutions to complex business challenges for show organizers, attendees, and exhibitors. Julie holds a BA in economics and computer applications from the University of Notre Dame.

Steve Barove

Steve has worked at Convention Data Services for over 18 years and is responsible for lead retrieval services and reporting for clients and exhibitors. He ensures all event-specific setup is complete and accurate. Steve sells lead retrieval and trains exhibitors to achieve their sales and marketing goals. He is an accomplished and passionate Account Manager with more than 25 years of industry experience. Before joining CDS, he was an International Account Executive selling booth space and marketing opportunities to US companies exhibiting in technology events all over the world. Steve is focused on working together with clients to provide exceptional customer service to exhibitors. He has a Certified in Exhibition Management designation.

Steve holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Massachusetts, with a focus on writing and communications.

Sue Bartholomew

Officially Sue “is retired” but remains active in supporting industry trade associations and other manufacturing companies with their branding and marketing consulting projects and mentoring their marketing teams. She helps to develop targeted marketing solutions directed to channel partners and end users/members using results-oriented traditional and new media communication techniques. From branding, positioning, product launches to trade shows, sales and marketing events to sponsorship and partnership projects and she works to mentor the teams to drive success.

Sue retired from ESAB Welding & Cutting as Global Director of Marketing Communications in 2018. She was with ESAB for 14 years holding various global marketing leadership positions.

Sue's marketing history goes back to her early employment in the ad agency world, and then transitioned into the fabricating industry in 1978 where she had her first involvement with IMTS.

After this, Sue began her own marketing and advertising company strategically supporting the manufacturing industry and associations, serving them for 12 years prior to joining ESAB.

Sue has supported the IMTS show as an exhibitor, committee member, ad agency and consultant for many years. 18 show cycles to be exact. (Yikes I'm old!)

Elissa Davis

Elissa Davis is the Digital Community Specialist for AMT. She runs the social media accounts for all of AMT's brands with specific audiences in mind and utilizes performance data to maximize web traffic and post engagement. Her background is in media production, having written and directed two award winning short films and written food content for NOVA Magazine. She graduated from Adams State University in 2017 with a degree in Mass Communications. After graduating, she worked in sales for three years before joining AMT. She is the co-owner of The Hidden Assembly: A People's Theatre Company and runs the social media and promotion for all content such as shows and podcasts that the company creates.

Brent Donaldson

Brent Donaldson is senior editor for Modern Machine Shop and a contributing editor to Additive Manufacturing Magazine, specializing in long-form feature articles related to machining and all-things-AM and industrial 3D printing.

Before joining Gardner, Brent was editor-in-chief for a university magazine and an associate editor for Cincinnati Magazine, and is the recipient of two Ohio Excellence in Journalism awards for feature news writing, Cincinnati Society of Professional Journalists awards, and more than 40 individual awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education for writing and editorial.

Fun fact: Brent was the last journalist ever to interview Evel Knievel.

Michelle Edmonson, CEM is the Vice President – Exhibitions for AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology. Her 25+ years of trade show history allows her to combine her experience with fresh ideas to all AMT events – including IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show – and content creation.

Michelle enjoys working on all aspects of IMTS from strategy and ideation to marketing, content, creation and production. In addition to IMTS, the physical show, Michelle loves being involved in other events and IMTS+, the MT content platform. When not working, she enjoys cooking, volunteering, reading, walking and spending time with her family & friends.

Peter Eelman's business career has always been centered around the IMTS Show. Entering the manufacturing technology industry in 1980 with the Wiedemann Division of Warner & Swasey, one of his first assignments was the production of the 1980 IMTS Show. After 16 years on the exhibitor side of IMTS, he joined AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology and has been managing IMTS ever since.

During his tenure, IMTS has continued to be among the top three domestic events in the United States, as ranked by several industry measures, and he has overseen the introduction of technology-based advancements such as IMTS.com, IMTSTV, the e-kit operations manual and the introduction of the fixed-price Custom Block Package System, which has been hailed as the model for cost containment in show operations.

Peter has served on numerous advisory boards and committees, most notably the Chicago Labor Management Council, the Choose Chicago Advisory Council and the Friends of McCormick Place, a group involved in the building of the current complex.

In addition to IMTS, Peter is responsible for AMT's international trade shows, which have included major events in China, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, and throughout Europe.

Travis Egan

In this role he is responsible for membership and product development at AMT and leads the Marketing and Member Services teams. Travis is a member of AMT's Strategic Alignment Team and Board of Directors. Travis has served in a variety of different roles within the durable goods manufacturing markets for over the past two decades. One of the aspects of this work that he enjoys the most is the opportunity to visit advanced manufacturing technology suppliers and their customers, the discrete parts manufacturers, to learn about the technologies and strategies they have adopted to gain a competitive edge. In his previous career at Gardner Business Media Travis served as Group Publisher for all metalworking/manufacturing brands and Publisher of Modern Machine Shop and Additive Manufacturing magazines.

Over his career, he founded/launched several successful new media brands including Production Machining in 2001 and Additive Manufacturing in 2012. This experience has provided Travis with a unique perspective on global manufacturing and has taken him to numerous countries in Europe and Asia as well as across the United States many times over. He is a graduate of Illinois State University and his bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology provides a strong foundation for understanding advanced manufacturing technology. He lives in the DC Metro Area with his wife and 12-year-old son, Finn. Travis has two older children in college; Kily (17) at North Central College in Naperville, IL and Max (18) at University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Tom has enjoyed an over twenty-five-year career in the trade show industry producing countless trade shows throughout the country as part of multiple operations teams. He has had a long-standing relationship with the International Manufacturing Technology Show, the largest trade show in North America, helping to produce the show thirteen times and counting.

Bonnie Gurney

An experienced executive at AMT, Ms. Gurney plays a pivotal role in forming future strategies for manufacturing trade shows. A consummate relationship builder, Bonnie enjoys bringing innovative technologies to IMTS through the Emerging Technology Center with long-term partners such as Local Motors and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Ms. Gurney is also the principal for IMTS public relations.

Stephanie Hendrixson

Stephanie (Monsanty) Hendrixson reports on 3D printing technology and applications as executive editor for Additive Manufacturing. She is also co-host of The Cool Parts Show, a video series that highlights unique, unusual and weird 3D printed parts, and co-host and creator of the AM Radio podcast. She got her start in manufacturing media in 2012, through an internship with AM's sister publication Modern Machine Shop. Stephanie is involved in Women in 3D Printing and has served as a track leader for the 2023 TIPE Conference as well as a local ambassador for the Cincinnati chapter. She holds a B.A. in English literature and history from the University of Mount Union, as well as an M.A. in professional writing from the University of Cincinnati.

Debbie Holton is a business development, industry engagement, and marketplace expert with a proven track record of growth, impact, and results in the manufacturing space. As Principal at Converge Consulting Group, she helps organizations sharpen their competitive advantage via advisory services, strategy development, industry engagement, technology trends, and creative business models.

Passionate about US Manufacturing competitiveness and advanced technology, she is known as a visionary leader and a change agent who seeks and supports innovation. She has strong technical knowledge on industry needs and cultivates strong relationships with industry, government, and academia where her input is sought out and respected.

Holton previously served as President of Metrix, an ASME company – a revolutionary startup – pioneering digital engagement in advanced technologies. She built successful strategies, new products, M&A and partnerships as a Managing Director at ASME and as Vice President at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). She also served as the first Director of Technology Transition at America Makes – the Manufacturing USA Institute for additive manufacturing.

She has been recognized as a Notable Woman in Manufacturing, an America Makes Ambassador, a CHIEF, and a Top Influencer in 3D Printing. She serves on the Executive Committee of the National Tooling & Machining Association and the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Association.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree with Distinction from the University's Ross School of Business.

Mark has been with The Association For Manufacturing Technology since September 2011. Mark's current role with AMT is to oversee the sales effort and space assignments for IMTS. Prior to joining AMT, Mark worked in the tradeshow industry for over 25 years and is a veteran of 17 IMTS events.

Allison Konczyk

Allison Konczyk, CEM joined the AMT team in July 2022 with an extensive background in trade show operations. With experience in the commercial a/v and packaging and processing industries' conventions, Allison oversees the logistics for a variety of AMT events, including IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show. She works closely with the vendor partners to ensure the strategic goals and vision come to fruition.

Cathy Ma's background in digital marketplace development and brand growth, combined with her passion for all things manufacturing, make her uniquely qualified to help AMT grow the industry as the new vice president of integrated product solutions. Previously the vice president of platform growth and engagement at Xometry and Thomasnet.com (which was acquired by Xometry), Ma has an impressive track record in growth and development of the digital marketplace. She has used targeted content to advocate for manufacturing – highlighting timely topics ranging from supply chain intelligence to women in manufacturing.

At AMT, Ma focuses on amplifying content and harmonizing key efforts to grow the manufacturing industry. From extending the high-quality content on IMTS+ to using data to better meet members' individualized needs, she serves as an integral connection between AMT's robust content, audience development, marketing, and IT teams. Ma helps AMT members grow their businesses with custom content, actionable data, and unique access to market opportunities like no other.

Jordan Marks

Jordan is currently the Customer Engagement Manager at AMT – The Association for Manufacturing Technology. His main goal is to make sure that members of AMT are aware of their benefits and taking advantage of them. Prior to AMT, Jordan held various roles in the golf industry that focused on membership, communications/marketing, and sales. He holds an MBA from Campbell University.

Chris Pasion is the managing editor of Modern Machine Shop and Production Machining. He holds a bachelor's degree in English literature and cultural studies, as well as a master's degree in professional writing.

As AMT's Managing Editor, Kathy seeks out connections, builds relationships, and strives to learn more about the people of the manufacturing industry. A writer and editor with more than 25 years of experience on the topics of manufacturing, technology, architecture, art, and parenting, Kathy is an avid listener who is deeply curious.

Kathy is particularly interested in autonomous vehicles. Since she was a member of Team ENSCO in the 2004 and 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge, she's been enthralled with the progress of self-driving vehicles.

When she's not writing or mingling at manufacturing industry events, Kathy is spending time with her husband and four children creating art, visiting museums, hiking, traveling, and entertaining friends and family. She does try to sneak in reading, yoga, Sudoku, and long walks with her dog, Meadow.

Casey Wedlake

Casey has been with GES for over five years and is the current International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) Call Center Manager. In this role her main goal is to provide excellent customer service and guidance to exhibitors as they navigate the planning and show site process.

Prior to this role, Casey has held positions in both operations and exhibitor services with GES. She graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA with a BA in Public Relations.
