Call for Speakers Deadline

The IMTS 2018 Conference Call for Speakers closes December 15, 2017.

Speaker Proposal Submission Procedure

Prospective speakers wishing to participate in the IMTS 2018 conference program should submit their abstracts via email to The IMTS Conference at IMTSConference@gie.net. Please include complete contact information for each speaker, the title of the presentation, the specific topic tract(s) for which the session has been developed, an abstract, and a speaker bio.

The educational value of the session topic is critical in the selection process and thinly disguised sales pitches will not be selected. Develop a unique approach to the topic and separate your session from other similar sessions being considered. Conference attendees should leave the session equipped with “lessons learned,” especially as they relate to new technology developments.

You need to consider:

  • The scope of your personal expertise
  • Timeliness of the topic
  • Technical level of the topic
  • Educational value of the topic

Selected speakers will be notified via e-mail in January 2018. They will also receive a letter of acceptance that will review the onsite logistics (date, time, room number, etc.) for their session. Speakers are encouraged to promote the conference and in appreciation of their participation, each will receive 10 complimentary registration passes for their specific session. The use of social media vehicles like Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc. is also encouraged.
