IMTS Visa Information
The following information should help assist you in your travel planning to the IMTS show. If you are an international visitor or exhibitor at IMTS, please be reminded that the United States government has instituted new, tighter visa requirements for non-immigrant applicants. This may lengthen the time it takes to process your visa application. Make sure you begin your visa application early and well in advance of your travel dates. It could take as long as two to three months to get your visa.
Letter of Invitation
The visa letter of invitation, though not required for the visa application, can assist as a supporting document. Present your letter of invitation to the Consular Officer during your visa interview. The deadline for requesting a letter of invitation is August 8. Please be sure to plan ahead and request your letter of invitation as much as 4-6 months in advance. Visa Waiver Program
The Visa Waiver Program currently enables eligible citizens of 35 countries to enter the U.S. for tourism or business for a period of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. Learn more about which countries are currently participating in the Visa Waiver Program.
US-VISIT applies to all visitors holding non-immigrant visas, regardless of country or origin. Visitors are photographed and fingerprinted upon arrival.
