Building a Strong Company Culture
There’s an old saying that a fish stinks from the head and, according to Mike Hoffman, that could be you! Mike Hoffman, President of Igniting Performance, spoke with IMTSTV at the MFG Meeting about leading by example and using people skills to build a strong company environment. Hoffman believes that how leaders behave has a strong impact on the behaviors of those who work below them. The energy level and culture of a company are something you can build as a leader.
Part of working with a group, Hoffman says, is labeling people’s behaviors in order to understand them and better work with their needs. Creating a positive work environment involves knowing your team’s behaviors, and bonding to celebrate and grow together.
