Around Chicago: Dining Around the World
Experience the cuisines of Central and South America, Portugal and Spain—all without leaving Chicago. Latinicity, a dining hall and restaurant inspired by Latin American street festivals, offers visitors a wide array of dining options.
IMTS attendees will find no shortage of unique restaurants in Chicago, and Latinicity is one of the more interesting. The restaurant offers visitors a cultural and culinary experience. When patrons enter this 2,200 square foot “street festival,” they are presented with a card that allows them to shop at a variety of food stations. In fact, Latinicity features 10 different food stations, a quick service lunch eatery, a full service tapas restaurant, a coffee shop and a full bar.
For visitors who are interested in hosting a private event during IMTS, Latinicity offers a truly one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The restaurant is available for semi-private and private events, as well as complete buyouts.
Chef Daniel Merana, who trained in Spain before traveling and working around the globe, brings the many flavors of Latin America to life with creative menu options and traditional favorites. Merana is heavily influenced by his time in Columbia, as well as his Spanish roots. His menu gives visitors the chance to experience global flavors in the Windy City.
