Smartforce Student Summit at IMTS 2022 VR Headset Giveaway: Winner Announced
We are happy to announce that Michael Stachyra, Teacher at Von Steuben Metro Science Center, a Chicago Public School was chosen of the winner of the Meta VR Headset. Michael attended the Smartforce Student Summit on Wednesday, September 14th and claimed his prize.

This program ("Giveaway") is open to Educators who register for and attend the Smartforce Student Summit at IMTS 2002. This Giveaway is not open to employees of AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology, its subsidiaries, affiliates, resellers, advertising and promotional agencies or members of their immediate families. Void where prohibited.
To enter and qualify for this Giveaway, you must register for and attend a minimum of one of the days of IMTS between September 12-17, 2022 in person. IMTS and the Smartforce Student Summit at IMTS 2022 is to be held at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. Scanning an attendee’s badge does not create an entry for the prize drawings. Winners are randomly selected from all eligible entries collectively received by registering for the Smartforce Student Summit.
The winner will be announced on site and on the Smartforce Student Summit at IMTS 2022 website http://www.imts.com/smartforce. Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries collectively received.
The winner will receive an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset valued at retail at $399.00.
Winner will be notified by e-mail no later than 11:59 pm [CST] September 12, 2022. Winner will have three days (seventy-two hours (72) hours) to respond to the notification to confirm acceptance of the prize. If winner has not responded to AMT by the conclusion of 72 hours from the time of notification, a new winner will be selected. Selection of winners will continue until a winner responds by the conclusion of 72 hours from the time of notification. The prize will be delivered in person at the Smartforce Student Summit at IMTS 2022. The determination of the winners will be conducted by IMTS whose decision is final on all matters relating to this Giveaway. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. IMTS will cover shipping costs, including international shipments. The prize will be awarded and are non-transferable. No cash or other substitutions are allowed except by IMTS’s sole election due to Prize unavailability. Odds of receiving a prize is dependent upon the total number of entries received. Winner may be required to sign an IRS form W-9 or other tax document required under local law.
Entrants may not enter with multiple identities nor may entrants use any other device or artifice to obtain more than the maximum number of entries. Any entrant who attempts to participate multiple times or with multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to obtain more than the maximum number of entries may be disqualified. Altered, mutilated or illegible entries will be disqualified. IMTS is not responsible for lost, late, delayed, mutilated, illegible or misdirected entries or for electronic errors.
By submitting an entry for this Giveaway, entrant agrees to abide by these official rules and any decision IMTS makes regarding this Giveaway. IMTS reserves the right to disqualify from this Giveaway, and to prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law, any entrant or entrant who, in IMTS’s reasonable suspicion, tampers with the entry process, intentionally submits more than a single entry or mechanical entries, violates these official rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
By submitting an entry for this Giveaway, entrant (a) agrees to the decisions of IMTS which shall be final in all respects; (b) consents to the use of entrants’ name, likeness and any statements, quotes or testimonials provided by entrant for advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law; (c) and agrees to hold harmless and fully indemnify and release IMTS, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability, damages, or causes of action (however named or described) caused by or arising out of entrant's participation or acceptance, possession or use of any Prize.
By submitting an entry for this Giveaway by way of registration for the Smartforce Student Summit at IMTS, entrant acknowledges and agrees to IMTS’s collection and use of entrant’s personal information, such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, for any purpose, including but not limited to, contacting entrant from time to time to inform entrant of products, programs, services and promotions that IMTS believes may be of interest to entrant. By entering this Giveaway, entrant hereby acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Giveaway Rules.
If for any reason this Giveaway is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of IMTS, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Giveaway, IMTS reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Giveaway and conduct a random drawing to award the Prize using all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. If the Event is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted on IMTS 2022 website, event app notification, and via email communications.
IMTS is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate capture of information or the failure to capture such information by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Event.

This Giveaway, the rights and obligations of IMTS, and the rights and obligations of entrants and winners will be governed and controlled by the laws of Virginia, applicable to contracts made and performed therein without reference to the applicable choice of law provisions. All actions, proceedings, and litigation relating hereto will be instituted and prosecuted solely within the State of Virginia. The parties consent to the jurisdiction of the state courts of Virginia and federal court located within the state and county with respect to any action, dispute, or other matter pertaining to or arising out of this Giveaway.
